Grant W. Grosgebauer

Partner

Grant is an award-winning trial attorney specializing in complex civil and criminal litigation. Throughout his career, Grant has conducted more than 50 jury trials, including a host of high-profile homicide trials.

Grant has a wide range of legal experience including clerking for a district court judge, working in the legal department of a fortune 100 company, and honing his litigation skills as a prosecutor for the 18th Judicial District.

Grant manages the personal injury section of the firm, bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion to all the cases he works on. In that regard, Grant is one of the most respected and well-regarded trial attorneys in the state. Grant’s experience reviewing complicated medical records, cross examining expert witnesses, and representing victims in the courtroom combine to make him the right choice to take on the insurance companies on your behalf.

Grant also handles a wide variety of criminal defense matters. As a District Attorney, Grant prosecuted thousands of criminal cases including misdemeanors, DUIs, assaults, drug possession, and first-degree murders. In his final years as a prosecutor, Grant led the Cold Case Homicide Unit, where he worked exclusively on the most challenging murder cases across Colorado. Now as a criminal defense attorney, Grant’s insider knowledge on how prosecutors prepare and evaluate cases gives his clients a distinct advantage. This insight has helped numerous clients receive favorable outcomes including outright dismissal or a significant reduction of charges.

Grant’s cases have been featured on Dateline, 20/20, Fox News, NBC, CBS, and local affiliates both on television and in print media. Grant has been interviewed on several crime shows to include Nancy Grace’s “Bloodline Detectives” (Season 3) and Paula Zahn’s “On the Case” (Season 25, Episode 16).
